HOWARD is the lineage deck — institutional history as pitch. Two invariants hold across every slide:
Feb 4, 2026 · Howard University · Department of Surgery
A DECK is a pitch. This DECK landed the Howard connection.
The Howard presentation was designed as a three-act narrative. Act one: the lineage — thirteen years of continuous git history from GenomicPython to CANONIC. Act two: the evolution — an auto-playing timeline animation showing how one PhD became a governed AI platform. Act three: the live demo — MammoChat answering real breast cancer questions in real time, backed by NCCN guidelines and IRB-approved clinical data. Every act runs on the same platform. Every surface scores 255.
Three governed HTML surfaces compiled from the CANONIC platform. The deck is the pitch. The evolution is the proof of timeline. The overlay is the product running live. No slides exported from PowerPoint. Every pixel rendered by the same Jekyll _layouts + _includes engine that renders the fleet.
| Design | File | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| deck | deck.html | 10-slide pitch deck |
| evo | evo.html | Evolution timeline animation |
| overlay | overlay.html | MammoChat demo overlay |
The deck opens with the lineage — thirteen years of continuous work from Penn to CANONIC. Five minutes. Then the evolution timeline auto-plays, showing every institutional milestone. Then the MammoChat overlay goes live. Real questions. Real answers. Real clinical evidence. Ten minutes of the product proving itself to surgeons who treat breast cancer every day.
| Step | Asset | Duration | Content |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | deck.html | 5 min | The Lineage — Penn to CANONIC |
| 2 | evo.html | auto | The Evolution — institutional timeline |
| 3 | overlay.html | 10 min | Live MammoChat demo |

Howard University College of Medicine. Department of Surgery. Two physicians who understand both the clinical need and the institutional opportunity. Dr. Fullum leads surgical oncology. Dr. Williams brings the department perspective. Both see breast cancer patients. Both understand why governed AI matters at the bedside.

MammoChat is the product that proves the platform. IRB-approved clinical trial [I-13]. Twenty thousand governed patients. Every answer sourced from NCCN guidelines [X-5], peer-reviewed literature, and institutional clinical data. The demo is not a mockup. It is the production system answering real clinical questions in front of the physicians who treat those patients.
The presentation landed. The connection is real. One issue: the demo API credits expired during the live MammoChat portion. The system worked — the governance held, the answers were correct — but the API gateway timed out mid-show. Follow-up required to complete the demo and move to NDA.

Every surface is addressable by magic:// URI. The deck, the evolution timeline, and the MammoChat demo each have a governed route. The MammoChat surface is live and public. The deck surfaces are planned routes awaiting deployment to the HOWARD subdirectory.
